Themed Set #1: Q6
Today's question is the sixth of seven in our first themed set!
This family of operating systems was created in 1969 in the C and Assembly languages and it was originally designed to serve multiple users simultaneously. What is this?
This is the sixth of 7 questions of the themed set! Don’t forget to guess the theme by the end of the 7 questions!
Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!
The invention is the transistor, which was first built in 1947. It revolutionized electronics by enabling the amplification and switching of electrical signals in a much smaller and more efficient form than vacuum tubes. Bonus: One of the inventors is William Shockley. The other two are John Bardeen and Walter Brattain. They jointly received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1956 for their work on the transistor.

As always, the answer will be released tomorrow on the next issue of Aurium Daily - until then, put your answers in the comments!
See you tomorrow!
