This famous internet hoax regarding the invention of an everyday household appliance was created by college students in England, and was exposed only 10 years later by a Redditor. What was this hoax?
Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!
The answer is Tiffany glass, created by Tiffany Studios, which includes other styles created by Louis Comfort Tiffany like Favrile art. Lous Tiffany was an American artists who gained inspiration during his travels to Europe, leading to the creation of his famous stained art works like the Pond Liliy Lamp sold for 3.3 million dollars at Christie's Auction House in 2018. The studio shut down in the early 1900s which was a source of much controversy since Tiffany's glass fell out of favor in the 1910s
