Aurium Daily #47 - Glass Art

Today's topic is glass art!

This specific type of glass art comes from an American artist's stained glass work. The eponymously named company was known for creating some of the most intricate pieces of glasswork, 2 of which are considered the highest priced lamps ever sold at Christie's Auction House. What is the type of glass art and what company is this?

HINT

Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!

The answer is the Mars Climate Orbiter that was lost in 1999 because of a calculation mistake. NASA was working with Lockheed Martin, the company that was supplying the parts for the orbiter; however, NASA asked for everything in the metric system, while Lockheed Martin delivered everything using the Imperial system's measurements. This error was not caught because both sides agreed that their calculations were correct. This sadly led to the miscalculation of the trajectory required for the orbiter to stay in orbit, causing it to crash into Mars's atmosphere and disintegrate

As always, the answer will be released tomorrow on the next issue of Aurium Daily - until then, put your answers in the comments!

See you tomorrow!
