Aurium Daily #37 - Roman Emperors

Today's topic is Roman Emperors!

This Roman Emperor was known for being musically talented, perhaps a little too much, since he didn't care for his people but instead his music during one of the greatest crises of the time. He was also remembered for persecuting Christians after this event, and was even blamed (perhaps wrongfully) for causing the crisis himself so that he could justify this persecution. What is the name of this emperor?

Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!

The answer is adrenaline and epinephrine. Both terms refer to the same hormone that controls the stress response, but adrenaline comes from Latin, and epinephrine comes from Greek; both of which mean "above the kidney" because that is where the adrenal gland is positioned. Epinephrine is more commonly used in the US, and Adrenaline is used in Europe and is the British Approved name

As always, the answer will be released tomorrow on the next issue of Aurium Daily - until then, put your answers in the comments!

See you tomorrow!
