Aurium Daily #33 - African Countries
Today's topic is African countries!
This African country (X) grew out of the British colony in 1980, which was named after an English mining magnate and politician (Y). With the British South African Company, he founded this territory, which the company named after him in 1895. What is the name of this African country today for X, and who was it named after for Y?

Hint!!
Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!
The answer is Limaçon! This is a geometric curve that is defined similarly to a cardioid, except that these contain dimples or inner loops formed by the curve intersecting intersecting itself. Cardioids, whose name references its heart-shaped appearance, is defined using the polar equation r= 2a(1-cos theta). The differences between limaçons and cardioids comes from the ratio of a/b.
This is also known as Pascal’s snail! It comes from the Latin word for snail, Limax.

As always, the answer will be released tomorrow on the next issue of Aurium Daily - until then, put your answers in the comments!
See you tomorrow!
