Aurium Daily #3

Today's topic is history!

The Gilded Age was an era in American history during which various advancements were made in the steel and oil industries across the nation. This also meant that transport of these materials across the country had to become more efficient.

The creation of time zones came about specifically in the mid 1870s. Which particular industry was credited for this invention?

Here is the answer to yesterday’s question:

  • The original name of the company was The St. Louis Bread Company, but it is now called Panera Bread everywhere except its home city of St. Louis. The company still holds strong ties to its roots, as seen in the logo where a woman is holding bread, representing how each sourdough bread they make comes from the original starter, also known as the "mother", and hence shown as a mother carrying the bread in her arms directly to the bakery!
