Aurium Daily #19 - Money

Today's topic is currencies!

Many different currencies around the world have the same name

This currency has a name that comes from the word "silver" in one of the oldest written languages. The name for this currency also has different variations, like in Indonesia. What is the name for this currency?

Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!

The answer is Duolingo! The language learning app was founded by Luis von Ahn, a professor at Carnegie Mellon University, and his post graduate student Severin Hacker. Von Ahn realized that his community in Guatemala struggled to learn English, so he wanted to come up with a way to improve access to language learning material. He was also the founder of the website securtiy software we are all familiar with, CAPTCHA (the company name was reCAPTCHA)!
