Aurium Daily #14 - Musicians

Today's topic is famous musicians!

Many singers become celebrities and often have an impact on fields outside of music as well; as is the case with this singer

This female singer is named after the American singer/songwriter who sang "Fire and Rain" and "You've Got a Friend" in the 1970s. She began as a country singer from Nashville, and later moved into the pop industry, making her the youngest singer signed by Sony Records.

One of this singer’s sold out concerts

Here is the answer to yesterday’s question!

The answer is Yamaha! This company began in 1887 as Nippon Gaki Co., also known as Nihon Gakki Seizo Kabushikigaisha, meaning Japan Musical Instrument Manufacture. After World War II, the company's president repurposed the war machinery to manufacture motorcycles, the first being the YA-1 or Akatombo, the "Red Dragonfly." This success led to the founding of the Yamaha Motor Co., separating the motorcycle division and the original musical instrument division.

As always, the answer will be released tomorrow on the next issue of Aurium Daily - until then, put your answers in the comments!

See you tomorrow!
